The church is integrated in the urban surroundings by its outer rectangular form. To create an adequate forecourt it is slightly indented from the main street.

The building is subdivided into three elements:

The hall, the u-shaped yard building and the tower

The hall is the central meeting point. It is build by shear walls which close like protecting hand about the congregation. The exterior shell consists of two layers of glass with blinds in between.

The yard building embraces the hall and opens up to the street in an inviting gesture. It contains the stage area, cloakrooms, seminar rooms, sound studios and the registry. The courtyard is used as a foyer.

In contrast to the light flooded hall, the tower has a bulky appearance. Its introverted character should invite the visitor to meditation and prayer.
